Yeah, I get that. It's just really boring when every isekai author is fellating japanese culture and every character is fellating the MC for bringing superior nipponese culture to them. Baths are an annoying one, especially in settings with fire and water magic. I get that they are mostly for fan service but having to read "A bath? But only nobles can take baths" gets real old after the first five times. Another annoying one is where they spend half a chapter explaining the adventurers guild ranking system that is exactly the same in every isekai. Oh well, complaining about isekai being derivative and repetitive is like complaining about water being wet. It'd just be nice to see some creativity and original ideas in unique worlds for once instead of generic isekai setting #4 with gimmick #7.

Look at all the new MC backgrounds we're getting or when the MC was an object/item, or slimes are powerful...

@kuzunagi13 the guy you see now IS the MC, his father(assassin) sent him to live with one of his merchant pals, the merchant pal falsified his birth records and let them show that he was the son of a Prostitute, that he slept with, thus giving him a secondary Identity, with that his goal is to Build up his second Identity because being a merchant will allow him to Procure Goods, information, and Connections, thus helping with his assassination.
