It's fine to use clichés but this is pretty much a 1:1 of more than a few mangas I've already read and I don't find the direction this manga is taking interesting.
I guess I'll stop reading here, not my thing.

Pacing is going too slow. I don't mind the sudden Fanservice but man this thing needs to go by faster. This is an assassination manga, it should focus on gathering Intel, training, and actions, not the process before gathering potential Intel.

He's literally setting up a potential situation where he could approach the hero without being suspicious. As for gathering intel, the hero is literally a nobody until he start killing demons and that won't be until a few years.
