I mean, they don't even need to color it like webtoon and it has fewer panels. Workload-wise it's doable but it sucks that the Japanese publishers still stick to the monthly manga magazine format and release 1 chapters in parts.
). With the large amount of white space webtoons use to pad out the number of drawings they need to do, the turn around time for a single chapter is *much faster*. A lot of mangaka have died or gotten extremely sick from the weekly manga cycle because of the sheer amount of work expected from them in a short period of time, so I'm honestly glad this manga is monthly even if the story moves along slower.
