@Azothoras dust explosions usually happen on places like flour storage/warehouse. you don't need actual dust to have a dust explosion; what you need are very fine combustible particles like flour, creamer, or milk powder. and when some idiot starts smoking in a flour storage that has a lot of flour dust flying around because it's not really properly ventilated...boom boom happens

understandably, anyone who has ever worked in a similar environment would be most likely to have been taught such things as part of their safety training

The dust detonation was a nice idea, using mundane knowledge to supplement a smaller application of magic wind and flame.

Dust explosions are serious business. I used to work with powder coating; we weren't even allowed electronics around the booth for the miniscule chance of a rogue spark setting off a dust explosion. Like, breaking that rule was very nearly grounds for firing.

He revived to be able to get the 4th crest and all but doesn't the 4th crest seen to be lacking?
All we hear about is about all the limitations and how the 4th crest is weak without support, the only saving grace of it so far is it's higher destructive power at closer combat.... it is kinda strange but wouldn't the 1st crest actually be the best one being the overall balanced crest that allows for everything and excels in enchanting?

@mahtan you have to remember that he used the 1st for 500 years and created ways to overcome its limitations in that time so comparing his level 500 first crest to his levle 100 4th isnt 1 to 1 yet

@mahtan He's a battle junkie. I mean, he killed legendary monsters without a battle-oriented crest in his previous life, enough to get almost deified. Of course he wanted the crest specialized in up-close killing.
