Ah... this is terrific. Gokicha!! is one of my all-time favorites, and this has a very similar bittersweetly goofy feel to it. And I already like the side characters, and judging by that group page at the beginning, there are many more to be introduced. Definitely looking forward to more.

I remember many years ago when the Gokicha prototype short became a hit that Rui Tamachi was supposed to be a high school girl at the time. Am I misremembering things? Many commenters seem to think Rui Tamachi is a guy.
