Shin no Nakama janai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni shimashita - Vol. 1 Ch. 1.1

Glad I am not the MC cause I am known as a complete and utter Bitch. I would been like " oh you want the spoils ok!" then proceeded to shove them down his throat literally or shove the sword into his stomach , then walk away calmly

1. What the actual hell with that skill explanation? I Honestly disnt get it, so he has a skill called guide but no attack/magic skills, but he ca learn common skills? What?
2. What a freaking beta MC, for god's sake, how come he couldnt fight back? If anything at least tell yer sister the truth or protect her from that fucking eveil looking dude...who the hell just ups and leaves her sister with that evil-looking mother fucker!!

@VincentYamato Guide shoudn't exactly be a skill but a vocation/class from what I understood, and each class has it's set extra skills, bonuses and meaning.

@VincentYamato basically he has, high Base stats, but low Growth. he start at lvl 31, but has Zero skills and passives. And lets say hero has Boost everything plus Xp. when she catch up to him. he is overly under powered.
apparently people, with the skill plus 30 lvls, are assigned as '' guide'', because they are close of age(maybe?) they accompany the hero, and protect them till the heroes out grow them.

@VincentYamato: The way I understand it
1. He's got Guide as his class, with a class bonus of +30 level from the start. However his class can't access skills other classes do, like Mage classes getting magic skills, Knights would have things like Swordsmanship, etc. He can only get generic skills that is not class-locked.

2. This is YEARS after the start of the journey. It's becoming obvious that he is no longer the one who can stand at the front, outshining others due to his 30 extra level of stats. Once the others level up some more, between the skills they get and their more specialized stat growth, he's getting left behind.

The Sage's initial proposal was fine to both save his face and the troops' morale. However the 'leave your gear' + that smirk was a dick move.
It might also raise suspicions given the official reason for MC's leaving was to find demons, why would he leave his gear behind.

I feel like it'd be better if the Sage wasn't locked to be an asshole so early, that way there's an option of something like a pragmatic guy who chose ot be seen as 'villainous' if it meant things will progress well.

The MC WAS slowly becoming a burden, but it's still a fact that his class is GUIDE.
Have him leave the front line, return to the kingdom to train more people, so that they can support the Hero in his place now that she's grown enough to fly out of the nest.
If he can't be the one to fulfill particular role, train someone that can do it.

a 3 month wait for... part of a chapter. These parts come out once a month. If you're going to make us wait this long, at least give us the whole chapter when you release... <.<

MC is basically one of those pre-promoted characters in Fire Emblem games. You just side-line him after a few chapters xD

@WhimsiCat 's spoiler:
That's how I understood it from the novel as well.

Big Spoiler for @Ifrittuccia
When does the hero Ruri find out, and when does Ares start facing consequences?
Short Spoiler :
As soon as Ares starts talking, and the second he hugs her.
Long Spoiler :
Ruri, the hero, knew from the very beginning that Ares kicked her brother, Gideon, out and lied about it. How ever, due to the compulsions of the hero divine protection, she can't do anything against "her allies." Because outing Ares would decrease the party's firepower and disrupt party unity she can't do much after the fact either. She really wants to up and put the main quest on hold to recover Gideon, who she believes to still be alive.

She noticed her brother leave and before her class can register her thoughts and stop her, beats Ares into a bloody pulp with a single punch (a fatal blow without immediate healing) and is pissed off at the compulsion to heal him up and apologize as her brother's presences disappears.

Other than the other party members immediately realizing how bad Ares is at filling in for Gideon's role, as quartermaster, interpreter, and tactician, no major consequences as of CH35

The above are in CH25 https://tseirptranslations.com/2018/06/sl-chapter-25.html

I can't stand that MC. Professional speaking, that asshead magician had a point, but he's a bastard and you also have to draw other points than just strength into the equation. That bastard is no team player, but a back stabbing bitch. This makes the mage himself is a danger for the party. An enemy within.
So, MC can't keep up any more and should leave the party. Okay. Let's discuss this with the inner core of the hero party (not the whole army) and give the reasons. The only reasons I can think of, why the MC didn't do that, is that he tried to avoid to harm the hero's party inner structure and he might have wanted to spare his sister's feelings. But that mage guy is the reason for this conflict, not the development that they surly have been seen before they reached this point. That mage endangers the peace of the party. If MC has to leave, so should the mage also. If the MC is no ally because of his lack of skills, than the mage is also no ally, because of his lack of common sense. But by not pointing out, what kind of game the mage is playing, the MC endangers the whole party.
Also he didn't gave his own sister a warning about that bastard.

Also the came to far, because the MC was there, so every part of his equipment is earned. Both MC and mage knew that, but MC let himself be blackmailed by that guy, so that the mage keeps his trap shut.

So, the MC wussed out and made a shitload of terrible mistakes. I hope the author gives a damn good explanation, why the he acted the way he did, because I can't see logic in it. The only explanation so far is, that he holds the idiot ball.

Uh huh, there's a total malicious guy gunning for your sister and you just left them at it, with no concern for your sister at all

This could be good in time but it has some work to do. The guide guy sits back while asshat heroes treat him like trash and go after his sister. The guy should at least give them a "How about some respect for the guy who saved your lives while you were getting started?"

I don't get him being bottom ranked either. We saw him one shot a demon an army couldn't stop. Maybe the heroes are stronger than he is now but he cant be newbie level.

Ill give it a few chapters.

As a level 30+ Guide, MC was maybe the second strongest guy in the country at age ten, and he stayed at the lead until his sister and her group leveled up. The reason he listened to that asshat, is that he was already getting left behind, he was nearly killed a few times, and was already thinking of leaving the frontlines, to support his sister from behind as manager/logistics. Douche hit all his sore spots, so he agreed to leave.

wtf, did the author not have any male friends? should he had made the first two males an asshat?? this sounds like a slice of life story and its like this?
