Not at this point in the story. We're about 1/5th of the way to them getting engaged.

As if it was any surprise, yes, the author is actually skilled enough to right a romance plot that feels refreshingly fast paced, but also with enough development to feel genuine. Truly a rarity nowadays where romances either get bogged down by added love rivals, or the two lovers start off already romantically involved.
