Skulls are only really strong because of their domed shape, like eggshells. That shape spreads the load most efficiently but disrupt the structure with fractures and holes and most of the skull's compressive resistance to collapse under load disappears.

You can repair them if they are broken while they're being collected but it's bitsy work. Superglue isn't much use, something like a good industrial void-filling 2-part epoxy is required... Uh, or so I've been told. By someone else. I forget who. Whatever.

I'm absolutely loving her character. I'm really curious about whether or not she's a psychopath though. Like, if someone tried to tell her that causing pain was bad, would she suddenly have some soul searching moment where she reconsidered it? It certainly seems that rather than killing for pleasure she just ruthlessly carries out orders.
