I think the ending is ok.
BUT: The title of the last chapter (or at least the English translation) was bit unnecessary. It's like the author doesn't want that reader interpret this a the beginning of a romantic relationship. The title is basically screaming "See? They are just FRIENDS!".
At least keep the possibility open for Yuri-fans...
