Shuukan Shounen Hachi - Vol. 4 Ch. 30 - One Day, Maybe…

FINALLY
Hoozuki is still a dipshit, but a dipshit that copmensated for Handa's broken tablet...
I'd even welcome him in the later chapters if he redeems himself as a mangaka.

I hope we learn more about Enma in the future, he is really a great character.

Rereading the arc with that reveal in mind will be interesting… The Like Battle and all his speeches take a whole new meaning from an ex-mangaka who most likely experienced cancellation firsthand.

I love how dramatic Mike and...uh...whatserface showing up is, considering it's still just drawing manga.

I'm glad to see that guy go away. After everything he's done, I'd be pissed off if they just forgave him like nothing had happened, especially because he played no part in making the team jump to first.

May he return in a much later arc for his redemption if the author so wishes, but for that to happen, he has to leave!
I'm glad to see other characters that seemed to be playing a larger part in the manga leaving the school as well. Really sells the idea that this school means business and the main character might as well be forced to drop out at some point. And heck, given how his objective is to become a pro, not climb the tower, he could very well end up dropping out and finding another means of realizing his dream!

Knowing this author, next chapters gonna have Mike saying something stupid and embarrassing himself.

Man, this arc had a pretty good finale.
You know, all these manga about mangaka always make me wish they'd show more of the creators' actual manga that they draw. I think one of my favorite chapters of Bakuman was when the two MCs were reading that one dude's super fucked up death game manga.

Damn this manga does not cut corners. I hate it because I love sappy happy endings for everyone, but I love it because it's so unexpected and raises the stakes.

The most disappointing thing though is leaving the based hat bro behind. Loved him.

@YamiryuuZero
Yeah, but honestly I'm not sure a "mass drop out" arc will happen again. I mean that seemed to be only for Class E specifically, the "processing plant" so to speak. I'm guessing from here on any one dropping out will be doing it voluntarily, after exposure to the amount of work they need to do or something.

The entire reveal on this chapter was so good, i can't wait for more enma in the future.

this was really good arc... character bear consequence, they need to let go their dreams... and they are not always has happy ending, but at least got positive endings...

Thank god Hoozuki is finally gone, I hope he never comes back. Insufferable character.
