Disney, and many other media sources (like live action movies/tv shows) also show his name as hercules even though it follows his greek story.

in fact, there is so much media describing 'hercules' as a greek hero, that many people legitimately think his greek name is hercules

Seriously? Jack is supposed to be the biggest scourge of humanity? What about Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot?
Still surprised that we have no Ceasar in the Human-Roster.
Moreover, this shows how a sniper (Simon Häyhä) was chosen.
But I really love the concept of this round. While the Gods put everything on their righteousness, Humanity has to send out someone who is in every sense of the word a monster. Hercules wanted to save humanity before this started, but he will most likely discard this intention after seeing the horror of Jack.

I think it's because Hitler wasn't much of a warrior. Sure he was a soldier in WWI and got a few medals, but that's it. Without his followers and army, he's about as harmful as the average person.

There was a list of human fighters at the beginning that had non-warriors like Nikola Tesla, but I think the author is probably going to give him electricity themed powers. I can't think of something similar they can do for Hitler.
