Speaking of reflection, look at Liz's. It grew tall and strong, highly resistant to trauma, and chose to keep growing. Became stronger when hard times were pressed. Even when losing it's base, it didn't die, it lived.

So Natalie's flower and stems are gone so we are suppose to believe they were destroyed, but what if the black creature that was distracting the Dragon is the creature born out of Natalie's plant. Bare with me here. We know that the the seed happens after the the flowers loses their petals and Natalie's plant no longer has it's flower. So what if the flower and stem being gone is because they gave birth to a creature and that creature just so happens to be the mysterious creature distracting the Dragon.
