Site still slow

I'm still experiencing slow loading/ partial loading; seems to be from server 2(address shows s2mangadex.org). Still having problems on your end?

Yeah the past couple house I have been having problems. Also another problem I am experiencing is even if the pages are loaded, when I scroll the the next 2 pages (double page rendering) the one on the left will be the same one as the previous set of pages, but the right one will change or vise-versa. Sometimes it takes a few seconds to load, but other times (such as now) the page won't load at all even though according to the loading page it is loaded.

Same here, I have to reload or close then reopen the tab so images load.

Yea, same thing also happening to me for these past couple hours. Using proxy make it goes faster for a little tho.
Edit: proxy only made the site loading a bit faster, but some manga still have slow loading

The more people try to access the site the longer it takes the site to transfer all those images you you.
These guys don't have imgur level of servers of any other website. These guys are dependent on us to provide them the money to buy servers/ keep the servers running.

Coming from right after a period of issue, your comment brings nothing constructive to the table.

On an other note, i will also add the fact that only (so far for me) server 2 (image server 2 ; s2.mangadex.org) is slow, we're talking 50kb/s. Every other image/content i have accessed was beeing accessed perfectly fine !

Could the server be full ?

Yeah the interesting thing to me is that as I read multiple series at once (say, a new series and occasionally taking a break to read my new follow updates), there can be a huge speed difference between the series’.

The series I’m halfway through can have tons of image load failures, long page load times, etc, while the new chapters for my follows can be lightning fast. It does make me wonder if it is an issue with a subset of the servers.

I know how hard managing servers/websites can be though. Thanks for your hard work!!

Ever since the DDOS stuff my front page won't load images at all and very rarely can I get any manga to load. I've tried clearing my cache and stuff but it doesn't seem to work.

@muirasan It means your ISP has blocked https://cdndex.com if images aren't loading on the front page

Speed and loading has improved greatly the last couple of days - great job, everyone! Getting a Network Protocol Error now, about 30% of page loads.......

Hey, I'm getting this problem now.

Everything loads fine on my phone but,

on my iPad air, the manga covers on the front page as well as the ones when I click to view on the manga cannot load. The pages itself load fine tho.

I've been getting a lot of failed image loads over the past week or so, but it's been especially bad tonight.

For just a single chapter, I must have hit refresh more than half a dozen times attempting to get all images to load.

I don't remember it ever being this bad for me, even back during the DDoS ordeal.

In any case, the problem seems to be almost completely resolved.

Images are loading, and fairly quickly at that.

I had only one broken image on this last chapter that I loaded, and a single refresh solved it.

I don't know whether it's related but I cleared the cache in my phone because of a page image which only half loaded, but refresh wouldn't solve it (in other words, a broken image got cached). So I cleared the cache for past 24 hours on phone to solve it.

If I was at my PC, I'd try Ctrl+F5, but I don't know how to do that in Android.

Laying in bed reading on phone, btw.

To change image servers, open a chapter, settings, checkmark advanced reader settings at the top left, and then scroll down to image servers

@Plykiya Pardon me, but I think cloudflare for my region(?) is acting up, I can't open mangadex without vpn right now.

I got something called Error 522

I am having problems with cloudflare as well. For 3 days now I need to solve a captcha every time I visit the site (which is fine), but after that I see no pictures on the site at all, the covers do not load, and I can not read the chapters either.

I cleared the cache, cleared the cookies, both on Chrome and on Firefox. Changed the Automatic server, America/Europe..none of them is working, getting the same results. Maybe someone can give me suggestions. Thank you
