I mean, I know he's not a surgeon, but maybe taking the crystal out would work, even if done terribly Beru could heal Regia. Also even if he's a monarch and incredibly strong, killing somebody shackled is quite dirty. . . (Though I guess and could be argued that the dude was an immense danger due to the chance of escape, but still)

The names the authors (or maybe translators, I'm not sure) came up with are really dope. They could have just gone with "Demon lords" and "Angels" but I'm really glad they went with "Monarchs" and "Rulers"

@MaTu94 I think the rulers would have came up with a counter measure if the crystal was forcefully removed.
