No, really. That MC can't keep his trap shut. Access to huge amounts of a very precious substance and an ancient dragon cub. I don't see, why any nation would start a race for world domina...him and his familiar. This is either badly written or that MC is meant to be naive without boundaries. And I do hope he will face consequences for telling people he likes, but only knows for a short time. We are at that point, that if he doesn't the logic of that world is called in question (BS-world).
