I'm a little disappointed it was a dream (most likely a premonition that's going to come true). I'd rather we get straight into it. Now that she knows what's going to happen, she is prepared (at least mentally). Not a bad thing but it would've been more interesting if the MC was just thrusted into the unexpected situation and had to think of what to do in the moment. But hey, maybe now she has a chance to save the ML.
