@rkkn It's looks like she either physically couldn't* or didn't know how to swim in the last chapter with how she...didn't.

*Physically couldn't: A pretty common death across multiple cultures was falling into the water (Usually doing chores like laundry) - since their clothes were made of wool and there were multiple layers, they become so water-logged and heavy they couldn't swim to the surface.
