This is just a guess but I bet the older brother murdered Fo Lih either because she was too close to Loh Yi or found out something and murdered the MC's parents just in case she told them anything. That'd explain how they knew the vampires attacking would stop at their house and MC's memory of her. Fo Lih might be MC's aunt which would explain why the two look so similar.
