Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken - Vol. 12 Ch. 54 - A Prelude to Catastrophe

@Lucky

You mean the opposite right? Shurim's translations actually uses the proper terms, just look at the differences between chapter 53. The children go to an academy not a school. It's Youmu not Youm. Space element is wrong it's spatial attribute and actually has a difference at least in the WN's later chapters.

Am I dreaming? Some peoples who do look bad in this manga?! Am I seeing greed in them?!
Even if I know that it's going to be over really fast, it's still good to see some kind of realistic character~

@Hurokun it is suppose to be an understandable among any other translator, remember when mangastream making a dick move of sniping the final chapter of nisekoi because the manga is super popular and makes people frown on them since then.

@Lucky nope, read again in previous chapters they uses Kuroe instead of Chloe and only changed it in this chapter after realizing this mistake, clearly show that they doesn't ever follow this manga since the beginning. Even in this chapter they translated Souei as Soei, obvously it will be changed next chapter when they read the correct version of it.

These 2 translator debacle will only demoralize one or another translator and caused them to stop translating. I bet this anon translator with soo many manga on their hand will never work consistently through time(when they got buzy with life or some other shit), letting this manga not being translated if shurim decided to drop it.

People taking everything seriously and can't even enjoy the fucking manga ffs.

Really tho, if you can't just be appreciative that you can read a japanese manga for free without even complaining one bit try not reading it then. Damn. Entitled bitches

Religion is probably one of my least liked things the world, but seeing the same old tried and true "evil church" trope with literally no other depth is kinda boring. If your enemy is actually bad, there's no point in making him a caricature or straw-man; ironically, you should give the devil his due. Slime is better than most isekai, but along with the general childishness, the tropes like this or the "game-like" world kinda hurt it.

@blitzarc
what i meant is there are no actual rules to prevent that. Its a dick move, but there is nothing to actually prevent that.

and in a way is good. as some times some groups do really bad translations or worse, purposefully slow down releases. so having competition can shake them a little. not the case here tho, and extremely situational most of the time is people being jerks unfortunately

i know it's not going to happen but i want him to kill everyone in the church instantly to solidify himself as a demon lord.

Casually learns teleport, casually loses the ability to teleport, bullshit comes bullshit goes the manga.

@Kohpi Geez it's a discussion thread not a positive-opinion-only-safe-space. If you can't take criticism to something you like I'd argue you, not others, should leave.

Finally it's the Fight!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we're close to the day we have been waiting for, soon.

To the people saying "it's the same old church trope" you might wanna stop making ASSumptions and wait until you actually learn what the church is and how it came about because it might just surprise you.

LMFAO is she really going for the 1v1?! I pray she prepared some traps and what not if that is the case.

Thanks for the upload.

@Doomroar It does seem like it but compared to the novel his abilities are not explained much in the manga or anime. In the novels it explains how he gains abilities, creates new abilities from existing abilities using Great Sage and other skills etc.
Maybe they expect people to have read the novels to understand these things and gloss over it....rightly or wrongly.
