@Chuchlain Skill of a politician? That was the old days. Nowadays they just lie flat out--easily fact-checked lies even--and figure that as long as they never admit it, when anyone points out they're lying the press will just report it as he said/she said. Or rather, the press that's against them anyway would report even any truths they say to be lies, while the press that's for them will report their lies as truth.

So, I guess that whatever happened in the French port in the 18th century (in which Elias started being called Pilum Murialis) is what caused him to go live with Rahab for a time. I suspect that the owner of the woman face that Elias sometimes uses was involved in that incident.

I also think that there is a reason for which Elias stopped living with Rahab, that Rahab didn’t tell Chise. It’s suspicious that she asked Chise not to tell Elias about her, and that Elias didn’t introduced Chise to her (although that last thing might just be because Elias is Elias).

First Alice and now Stella have contracts with Fae. I wonder what type of magic will Ashen Eye allow Stella to use.

I hope they return to College next chapter. It would be nice if we also learned more about the Conclave.

I thought it was going full shounen with the "I'll threaten you with my power of friendship!" without consequences disregarding the setup it's been building about the fae, glad it stayed true to it.

Elias has a face of a woman who's memories of he can't remember. He mentions, at this specific chapter when the talk about "something happened to him", that he destroys memories enough to get used to it. They're obviously linked.
