The Ancient Magus' Bride - Vol. 13 Ch. 64 - Conscience does make cowards of us all III

The werewolves are so screwed. Now to see how she can save the siblings too.

@cybik Check the chapters right before they joined the School.

Well this is definetly the tunnel but they dont have permission for this,
so lets see what the consequences will be

Actually kind of curious what they will offer as a price for entering without permission. Or maybe they wont even have the option of making an offer

Things Chise could have said instead of "he helped me with something":
- "I sold a magical being through his auction house."
- "He introduced me to Elias."

Maigo, thanks for the excellent work as usual!!

Things are *really* ramping up now, I'm getting worried for them.

I wondered how the tunnel might come into play later on, and here it is right now. At first glance it's a handy escape route. That's an easy mistake to make though.
What's interesting me the most is the voice speaking to Chise, a different version of herself essentially.

So glad Simeon is not dead. He really felt like he'd be a good conversation partner with Elias, and it'd be a pity to kill him off so soon.

Them knowing about Elias in some way was interesting, but their cryptic taunt at him on pg 27 threw me.

Also the voice getting stronger within Chise and taking form; her face, but Elias's hand on pg 30?

I'm glad the plot is moving faster again even though I didn't completely hate the wizarding school slice of life chapters.

Hmmm this was more of an action chapter but we can conclude that she’s going through a passage she’s not supposed to be going through, and going to some place familiar to her that we don’t know yet.

am i the only one who loves it when elias shows up ready to murder literally everything?

because i do

@AlmondMagnum That is exactly why there was a flashback about Chise needing to be better at giving half-truths. You pretty much just said what the writer was implying.
