Fucking finally any manga depicts slimes as being OP as they should be... I have very high hopes for this manga, not for it's story but for the portrayal of all it's fantasy elements straying from the norm of manga and actually being cool/interesting.

Yup. Orcs are corrupted elves. Although I think that was in the Silmarillion and not Lord of the Rings. Morgoth, Sauron’s superior loved corrupting parts of creation. It’s how we got Balrogs, Dragons, and orcs. And keep in mind elves last a long time and he loved to experiment...
