The Diary of a Middle-Aged Teacher's Carefree Life in Another World - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

The Translation is a little rough but easily understandable. Interesting first chapter.

Okay, I think the story might have the usual isekai potential...

But what really bothers me about the story is:
That evil spirit can simply force the players to commit suicide in real life AFTER it has been defeated while doing so it causes a blackout throughout the WHOLE of Japan.
Why the f*** did the spirit not use that power while it fought against the players?

If those powers can cause a blackout throughout the whole of Japan then the game would also be shut down and the players would be returned to the real world.
So they would never have been able to defeat the evil spirit.
So why?! Why did that evil spirit fight them fair and square till it was defeated? WHY?!?!

Another thing that is a little worrysome is the translation itself.
From some grammatical errors to some bad wordings to misspelling (e.g. "statut" for "status") to the most worrysome issue of "duc" instead of "duke" (duc's family instead of "duke's family").
Hopefully that improves with time.

@Talh

I think everything was in normal game mode until they managed to defeat it, then the spirit turned sentient and did his evil spirit thing and
the other guys logged out at the end of the color pages, so the MC was the only one in the game when the evil spirit did his thing, that probably saved his life since it gave the goddess a chance to transfer him.

thks for the new release

Corrections will be made to Chapter 1 by tonight. Thanks for the feedbacks.
The message from the goddess was badly translated and will be fix in the same time.

@SolisTrad Overall it wasn't a poor translation, plus since your not a native English speaker it's normal to make mistakes at first. Thank you for translating this and for taking feedback to improve.

for a group that doesn't have english as it's first language this translation is good, only a few grammar mistakes but it's understandable and it doesn't make it any harder to understand
That being said, I would like to help by proofreading the english releases, I've never done it before, but my english is pretty good despite it not being my first language and I wanted to try to do it for a long time now

Unofficial, but the title roughly translate to: The Diary Of A Sage Around 40 Living In Another World.
Trivia: "Kenja" can also mean sorcerer, or Japanese slang for a virgin (specifically, virgin men over 30).

As for the translation itself, it looks ok at a glance, with a few typos. I recommend the free plugin Grammarly, which checks for grammar and spelling in a browser.

pg14 "I don't want to kill him just because he is a monster"
Oh cool, an older main who has learned to live and let live instead of a kid playing with superpowers.
pg18: Main kills ALL of the goblins with superpowers.
Whelp. It could still be fun.

Added link to English translation of the Light Novel. Should help with some translation and the Status Menu. Duc's should be Archduke's.

Oh no, Goblins?? *DESTROYS HALF WORLD*
Sad fate mother nature *high fives himself*
Loli girl *DESTINY*

week later? what's week later?!?! the suspense... it didn't even say it ended, maybe pages just got lost?

huh...this is already better than those spanish translators who do sloppy jobs at english. only few minor issues with proofreading. i'd do it, but i'm not paid enough to have the free time to do it without actually getting paid to proofread lol.

thought jashin means "evil god", but i agree with your decision to just leave it as Jashin

overall, tres bien mes amis

@Alpha7 thought "Duc" translates to "Duke" ? does french even have a term for archdukes? internet dictionaries translate "archduke" as "Archiduc"

The goddess saved him from the spirit and he's not even grateful? The goddess should've let him die.

the government need to prioritize electricity because without it more lives will be lost. hospitals need power to keep their patients alive and storages also need power to keep food from spoiling. it would be stupid to condemn government just because they need to keep their county alive

No you fucking idiot, the goddess gave you another opportunity to live, she wasnt the one that fucking force you to die.

seriously, I think it's just part of a checklist to blame the god that reincarnates/transfers you. Yeah, maybe your mad and confused. Maybe you need someone to blame and the way she writes makes her an easy target in your mind. Still, atleast don't confused benefactor with antagonist!

has a name of Merlin, summoned by Freya...
this MC is a waste if he can't grow d---s on whamen...
