Holy crap the Viscount sees Scarlett as well! No wonder he was so intersted in Constance.

Randolph and Constance actually suit eachother pretty well, they both have this sort of disarming honesty that throws other people off, and are both at heart geniunely good people. For example, I love how Scarlett was totally unable to deal with Constance just honestly thanking her and helping her out for no personal gain.

I think this story loses a lot of appeal if she gets another person who can easily bail her out of problems and can read her like a book, only this one is worse because he's not supernatural and is just ~smart~ and cool. Scarlett was enough of a deuteragonist, we don't need the Build-a-Love-Interest from any number of villainess mangas and webtoons. He's fucking boring, frankly.

Is-is he really gonna be the ML? I seriously couldn't find any chemistry whatsoever. The whole convo between him and Connie are just hella awkward even I physically cringed. I have to admit the mystery got me hooked and I should really be sleeping right now but I can't stop reading this.
