I get he hates the witches now too, but this seems like a dumb idea, especially since he seemed to have planned this with that GPS chip.
If his plan is to wipe out humans and witches then revive Chloe, why did step one directly result in burning the tree which could revive her?
This feels like a twist for the sake of a twist rather than anything that makes sense.

When it comes to writing a protagonist for a series, it's important to give them redeemable and relatable traits for the audience to want to root for them.

At this juncture the MC wants to, what, kill all humans AND witches? Like what's the fucking point? He doesn't even make a good anti-hero character. Author has made nearly everyone unlikable in this series.

Cause no one here is rootable and before people say dora, dora has as much IQ as a wetbread, sure she's kind but her naivety resulted in her death, adonis is a prick through and through, you can't make enemies with everyone and expect to come out clean then you got the tree to revive your master destroy and the witches, yes I know you're supposed to be sketchy but wow nice way to blow your cover SO EASILY, not only that none of you thought to check his body for bugs? wait wasn't he in surgery how the fuck did it not get found? also the humans' tech really good damn powerful able to find someone ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MOON! not only that for fuck sake, how did you even teleport up there? and the witches got rekt by a small troop of soldiers..........how did they manage the world for so long?

as I remember chapter 1 was it the witch Maintenance the world like keep it land green and all that shit? if it is true the human race is 100% dead all mc need to do now is take the dumb girl to some hidden Island make a farm with his plot armor magic and wait for a few years most the human die from hunger or war and he just kill the leftover

Ok so. Adonis way of thinking, apparently: Fuck those trash witches who want to use him to resurrect my beloved teacher that deserves to rest in peace. This girl saved me so I might as well save her. Witches turns their brains off and blame everything on Doroka for.. no fucking reason except the author is edgy af. Adonis sends the humans on the witches because he wants to eradicate both sides to start over again from an Adam and Eve perspective. All he has to do now is wait for humanity to wipe itself out because they cannot survive without magic, which we learned in earlier chapters. So we either get a timeskip soon with Doroka and Adonis living in the middle of nowhere until humanity implodes because of the absolute stupidity of the Emperor, or Adonis going on a murder spree with Doroka.

@Velsy End of chapter 7 they know his body is fake, they must have somehow figured out someone planted the microchip in him or he did it himself when he got out, they managed to find it, voila. They have the tech to do many things, why not teleport. Also, they cleaved people before.
