On a side note. I feel Rude is already good step above most fantasy Mcs for being aware for other girls attracted to him. He just has more important priorities ( being his sister and his work duties) that he feel he cant put enough obligation to a relationship.

@Airantu it was explain in the first chapter that he mainly did labyrinth diving and never really work for the guild so his rank was still F even though he was in one of the top party.

@Airantu it is mention in earlier chapters that Rude never took quests from the guild or reported his achievements to the guild while in a party with the hero, so he never increased his rank.

Plus you know, communal ownership could be a thing, particularly in a world setting where magical monsters exist, so of course defense funds would be greater than your average earth village and defenders would be more competent. So not necessarily hard, especially if MC brings home dungeon loot from time to time.
