The Mermaid Princess's Guilty Meal

The artist for this series is apparently working on a new romcom of sorts: https://twitter.com/touku43/status/1169896307776843776

@Wreavant

There's a fish the princess mentions having had a childhood crush on, and there's a guy who shows up later in the story that's got some chemistry with the princess and the potential to eventually become a love interest, but I doubt the writer's going to take it in that direction because the core concept of "the mermaid princess eats another fish every week" doesn't really improve that much by adding romance.

Sea creature, eat other sea creature. Big fish eat small fish, many carnivore in sea. How the hell this is canibalism.

Dinner time, and I don't know what I want to fix.

reads new chapter

...I'm suddenly in the mood for fish.

well im caught up. no chowder yet, which is disappointing. would rate this a 9 but im biased due to a love of shellfish so it gets a 10.

@Agni
because the manga try to show they are sentients creature able to think and marry and care for their children
because sea creature in real life are bunch of cannibals who'll eat even their children because they can't distinguish that they are their children also brothers and sisters eat each others since birth
also most of them don't marry but drop their things on water (if you know what i mean ) until they meet to form a fertilized egg

A strange story which has a bunch of other stories going on around the princess, whose main concern is eating fish

Now we just wait for Uotomo to teach Era how to gut and cook fish so she can go full-blown Hannibal...
