i know that everyone’s going “poor leslie, wish eli would disappear once and for all” etc. etc., but honestly i feel bad for eli. it’s like her sole purpose for existing is to be the villain of this story and i hope the author makes her not just into a one-dimensional villain, because it’s hard to believe that eli is just evil for no reason. idk, i guess i hope for some redemption arc or explanation of her motives? i mean after all, a good story always needs a complex and interesting villain

@grownbean I agree. It’s kind of boring to see that her character is bland and she barely has no contribution in the story except to be a spoiled brat ‘villain’. I hope that this season she’ll improve a bit, like if she really hates Leslie, she’ll try to outsmart her rather than using childish taunts and shallow cheats. I don’t know, this is just an opinion

Makes you wonder if their world's progression is stifled in favor for stability, but I wonder if their world is more bountiful there was no real need for progress. Nobles for the most part are more fair and corruption is rooted out. Makes you wonder how it all stays together and how everything goes to shit for us

That is the thing though. Is it ever confirmed to be the souls of them, or is it just her imagination/hallucination which developed from her being constantly under severe mental trauma? I know it shows a few scenes where they set it up to look like them, but has anyone else acknowledged that as a possibility, or is it only when she is there, alone, do they "come out", more so than just "using her magic"?
