The New Gate - Vol. 7 Ch. 47

@Kaarme
well yeah but if you know your kid come back at 12h30 you cant wait him for eating, atleast in my home its still like that with my 3X yo brother that got nothing to do but coming home for eating

@MiiaBestWaifu Perhaps if it was an expected, regular thing. But they got guests they never expected, so a daughter that old could cope with it even if she had missed the timing and had to reheat food for herself later, on her own. It makes more sense than to ask a high human to wait for their daughter to come back before eating. It's like getting Queen Elizabeth to pay a sudden visit to your home, all hungry, but you asked her to wait for an unknown amount of time for your (nearly?) adult daughter to get home first, so that you wouldn't need to prepare her meal separately afterwards. I don't know, it just doesn't feel right to me, unless it had been agreed on beforehand that your whole family would be there eating with the queen.

@Kaarme
well i see your point but the queen would not be my friend, but in shin case theyr friends.
if my friend who is the queen come to me for eating if she is really my friend il tell her to wait but still it depend on who are you, your relation, or if its expected

@MiiaBestWaifu Actually, you are quite right. He was indeed their old friend. Thinking about it, there's no way Shin wouldn't have actually wanted to meet their child. It's not like Shin's position would be so special in their eyes anyway because they died before he cleared the game and freed all the others. He might be a hero for those guys and gals who made it, but not so much for those who didn't (although I mean nothing negative with this; it's not his fault many people must have failed the death game).

Can anyone help explain what the heck is happening this chapter?

Were those three players? Then why was it said there was the Dust thing wiping everyone away? Are these 'dead' players simply reincarnated in this world, the very game world itself? If so, when? They seem somewhat familiar, and not, at the same time, with the -present- world. Everything this chapter shows felt like contradicting things told before.
