This manga makes a good point. The MC is a character from a serious dark fantasy story. In a conventional RPG, he could be taken seriously, but in a gacha game, he's a joke. It is impossible for a gacha game to have a serious story. The genre's structure doesn't allow it.

Gacha? Well it's a lottery thing. Remember those balls chewing gum dispenser? same thing but instead of chewing gum, it's random figurines.
Gacha evolved from a physical form from figurine to a digital with smartphone games using that same randomness.
In a more western version, tis basically how EA microtransaction crates works.
