@NP-3228 considering he's starting out as a low level manager, or more like he programs robots (the imps) to do all the garbage disposal, he's actually more in line with... a low level manager, like at least a team lead or a shift manager, or a specialist. Honestly, it’s probably somewhat better to compare the job to a combination of sewer inspector and public lands manager.

We know Franz graduated from some sort of higher education. Garbage collectors in real life earn on average $16 per hour, and that’s the basic entry level pay with no real prior experience needed. Sewer inspectors make on average $60k per year in the U.S., which more reflects the pay we see here in the manga.
