The Skeleton Soldier Failed to Defend the Dungeon - Vol. 1 Ch. 17

Well it was the fire that killed him, the "retardant" only made him unable to feel the heat although it apparently still affected him as extreme heat would.

It’s the same as asking why he can speak and move since he is a skeleton.
And anyway if you don’t feel you can’t move and walk well, there’s a reason why we always know where are our limbs even in the dark, proprioception. Not knowing how far is your foot from the ground makes it really difficult to walk.

@breizh It's not like that, there are humans who can't feel anything and they walk perfectly fine. The only issue is that when you don't feel anything it's easy to harm yourself.

Aaaaand she dies anyway. Some guy finds her lying there, rapes her, and kills her off.

@Teasday: I got that, I just don't get why a skeleton would have the ability of feeling pain/heat in the first place. It seems counterproductive even from a summoner's point of view.
@breizh: Speaking and moving are desirable qualities from the point of view of the one who summoned him, feeling pain/heat - not really.

I hope she doesn't die. Skeleton is back to slaughter everyone.
The world cave must BURN!

Hey stay here in this dangerous place alone and unconscious because I don't want you to be in danger....

@phil777
I wouldn't mention it if the story would be another... but it's just that kind of story. It's not like it alrdy happend once... wait... ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_

If she dies anyway but skelly survives so he won't reset I'll be a little upset.

wait... the powder substance or whatever it is just block the "heat" feeling and not the heat itself or was there something in it that makes skelly melt?...

@zetsuravez: It simply doesn't protect, otherwise he wouldn't have thrown it at the blacksmith. I find it funny that he was melting too, he should have at most gotten charred a bit.

@sczszsc Proprioception (knowing where your limbs are) is essential to walk normally. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pMEROPOK6v8 Look at how the man walks in this. Always has to look at his feet to know what exactly he is doing.

You’re talking about Nociception (sense of pain).

@GerryCerryBerry she died like 3-4 times so far lol.

Also glad to see the MC's character development, questioning everything he missed after the reset brings more meaning in his previous death.
