The Villainess Turns the Hourglass - Vol. 1 Ch. 36

Aria should at least gamble every other day. Winning like that day by day makes her so suspicious 😂

@lolhahaha
The last panel i it said"the next day" and she's wearing a different dress
But yeah, she should stagger her wins a bit more

"I need to use the hourglass less, it seems to be using my lifespan."
Literally everyday from then on.
"Hmm, lemme flip this real quick..."

@Wulfleyn
no, i know what card counting is, but this is card roulette, you can't card counting a roulette since your card set and the dealer's card set is different.
the dealer take a card from his set and the gambler took their card from their own set trying to match the dealer's card. without cheating or getting any hint you can only rely to your luck since the chance you got the same card as the dealer is less than 2%

Is she really not worried about the fact that she seems to be aging faster!? Her looking that much older than her "sister" really worries me....
Or are we just going to say she went through a growth spurt because she was sleeping so much?

Well, I guess she will use it less while visiting casino than when she did while harrassing mielle anyway, and it's not like she will instantly grow old but rather lose a couple years so it won't hurt her to use it to earn money since it's the easiest way to do so for her.

Honestly, we're 36 chapters in and our ML has yet to convince me that he's not garbage

we assume the hourglass ages her, but there is no confirmation about its actual effects. its definitely forcing her growth but that doesn't necessarily mean aging in the sense of lifespan. there are still other possible effects it is having but we are all working on the assumption it moves a portion of her time forwards without the required time passing due to getting reset.

logically speaking, the power it would take to reverse time even by just 5 minutes, being powered by a person lifespan, should outright kill them after the first couple of flips if not the very first time. so the hourglass would have had a history as a cursed item before it reached her.

but its a story, so anything can happen as long as the author wills its, logic be damned xD

Yeah the magic hourglass

Edit: I love how the author makes mielle seem so innocent like with the panel of her and her dad. But then reminds us of her true character like when she said, 'wouldnt he suit Aria's taste better if he comes from a lower class'
Ugh. Discrimination at its finest. Too bad Mielle can't make Aria into what she believes her to be.

Ah, i thought she already deduced that using the hourglass will more likely to have a negative sideffect on her part.
Hmmm...kinda feel iffy about this
