The Villainess Will Crush Her Destruction End Through Modern Firepower - Vol. 2 Ch. 11 - The Villainess Reads an Academic Paper

Hmm, i kinda get where she is going with the metals. But basically she is going to make a wire for magic, and implement it into her gun?

@Pocky8 because it isn't inhibitive to construction since it is sensitive to mana control, it's more likely that she'll make the whole firing portion from it since she's only really trying to make the mana transfer cleaner and safer (for her). It could be implemented as a wire, but I don't think her gun loving nature will allow such a modification. If it was just about transferring mana then I don't think she even really needs a firing pin.

wait a minute, she had doting parents?
so was the case of the villaness being a terrible person a case of overdoting parents?

Her size in a panel with her parents is too small even for a newborn... But it kinda just works, be it a mistake or intentional thing - she's basically drawn as a tiny ball of (misplaced) enthusiasm.

@icam98 @icarushector

I got the understanding that the grip and housing would be made out of a magical resistive material and the connector/trigger/sear/etc. to the firing pin would be made out of highly conductive material. This way, the magic would be "on" at all times and she'd simply be able to "fire" it via a circuit that she'd close "ON" by pulling the trigger and completing the circuit. Once it connected, she'd release the trigger, reopening the circuit "OFF" would close it and enable reloading/preventing premature detonation.

Basically, she's taking electrical theory and implementing it into a firearms design like an electronic firing mechanism. [Think of a Vulcan gun on a naval ship that operates electronically to create a wall of bullets for anti-aircraft and anti ballistic missile defense.]

Couldn't she just use electric ignition? Make a spark at, say, her thumb or trigger finger and have a copper wire in the gun conduct the electricity to the bullet? No 1/500 loss that way.

Remember that the cartridges don't actually contain gunpowder. They are essentially spell cards with metal attached that she needs to activate with her magic. There isn't anything to ignite.

asdfkljfkalsdj poor parents, please love them omg

thank you for your hard work and updates~!
