1. I was pointing out that your previous statement is incorrect: ' this could just be a completely different character' : it's clear he isn't 'completely different' because he is this manga's version of the doujin MC.
Since you changed your wording to 'same exact character', I think you agree with me.
2. I agree that the author doesn't have to 'make it the exact same', but this manga's world has been shown to be almost identical so far to the world in the doujin so far.
I need to re-read the doujin to see if ichikawa (female MC) exists in that world, so the guy's story might turn out differently than the doujin's depending on her existence.
3. Even if the author does 'make it the exact same' , this manga probably won't become sex-filled because the manga is from the female MC's perspective and she hasn't shown any interest in doujin MC. this manga could just offer a side perspective on what doujin's MC's actions (and the effect of his actions on others) looks like in public.

@kreyton This isn't a Isekai, it's just a parallel world where the male and female are inverted. For it to be a Isekai, it should be much more different than where she/he came from.
