I always dislike when the author uses sexual violence to incite hate in a character. I get it, it's effective, but it's damn cheap is what it is.

@gackt1 @lavsingh I don't think giving someone a non-cartoonish motivation is necessarily meant to make the charcater sympathetic overall. I'd actually say doing stuff for family is a pretty notorious shithead motivation in fiction and IRL.
