Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu - Ch. 52 - Game Over

How long am I gonna skim pages damn it at least the WN finally started getting updated again after that long Hiatus.

That's reassuring to hear. I haven't read through the novel version, but in the manga I can see hints that it's the author's intent, but since they don't really dig into it in much depth I've never been quite sure.

( I hear there's significant differences between webnovel and lightnovel versions, and I don't recall there being a light novel translation going on )

I've just commented in the previous chp about the significance of the pov of these important characters to the overall plot especially since a lot of the main events/large scale conflicts do involve them. They are long-term antagonists and they need pov scenes to show what kind of person they are. Do people really want one-note evil-for-the-sake-of-being-evil kind of boring villains? These 2 chps have important scenes that foreshadow some conflicts and clashes of perspectives with Makoto later on, these characters pov scenes aren't only build personality for themselves or just about them, these povs are required to build the pov and character of MC and gang too. The novel version is translated far enough for people who got impatient to see where the stories go, but those who do not enjoy pov of non-MC-and-gang characters will continue finding this not enjoyable enough, because these 2 chps won't the only chps that focus on side characters, and the novel has many chps like that too. IMO, I honestly think the further the story goes the less enjoyable this manga/novel would be for casual readers who prefer to read fighting scenes, OP abilities throwing and killing, and fantasy coolness because this story will go deeper and talk about more philosophical stuff, ideologies, politics and even existential stuff (which all of that require povs of these important side characters as a foundation to give Perspectives from different angles and stuff).

Did they change the sequence? Wouldn't be Makoto arrive at Rotsgard and become a teacher first before the Goddess summon Makoto to help Hibiki?

I think people are realizing they didnt really liked the story, they just kept reading and now they are mad they have to wait lol. It's still the same level of quality to me.
Which isnt amazing, but at least tries to do something with the story unlike most of the trash isekais

@exxp, nah, he doesn't deserve any protection. I'd rather see he getting destroyed in the next chapter than getting more protection.

@KRXN
No the sequence is straight from the WN. He gets "kidnapped" and joins the fight. I think you are confusing it with a later event.

Female hero that no one cares about: "All he cares about is his own life"

Well, to be fair, he's in another world. He has NO reason to EVER care about the life of ANYONE from this new world. He also has ZERO obligations.

I'm skipping through the pages since I don't care about these shitty characters. Just give us Makoto and Co. already, please.

For real. Povs of side characters are pretty common in mangas that are adapted from WN/LN, especially for important characters that have integral roles and purposes to the overall story and direction. Overlord did that, Tensei Slime did that, and many others too and it's just a common writing style of WN/LN authors, I don't see people complaining the same thing about those series but now suddenly a surge of people acting brand new about it for this series. I can't tell if they are serious or just jumping on the bandwagon, but I'm sure they will get disappointed if they continue this series and I hope they realize by now that maybe this manga/series isn't really what they are looking for. This series isn't one of my most fav and I personally don't think it's top tier but at least it has more depths and pretty well-rounded story than a lot of isekai series that are just basic and formulaic, and I appreciate that this series is one of the better ones.

@Wilhelm_Stenvall lol seriously? If you go down that path, you don't have any obligations to care about life from anywhere depending on who you reocgnise as outsiders. What you're saying is not "fair" but rather an extremely selfish attitude to take. It's especially the case since this world's people loved the heroes unconditionally due to his charm ability.

Honestly, this isekai story has some of the most interesting conversations between hero tropes and the MC. The author spends a lot of time and effort to build up to those moments. Yet we have readers here who only wants surface level satisfaction lol. The core fan base is all he needs I guess since they're the ones who actually buy his books.

@damiester
Isekais tend to attract the most juvenile of minds, if they dont get the MC banging his harem and being an unstopable force that just crushes all obstacles they throw a shitfit as big some people did back during the 2016 election.
