Err sort of. You can't casually drain them, but you can release a whole lot of stored mana all at once. A fully charged ring is very dangerous. I don't recall them ever finding a safe manor in which to discharge them.

Most likely he blew up a whole lot bigger area then he thought he would.

Oh yes he did. A very large area was destroyed, and now there is a lake there. He changed the map in a big way.

Considering what "tone" this manga have, that probably caused both armies to retreat effectively stopping the war temporarily.

No... he murdered 2 whole armies at once. The human army did attempt to retreat. The demon army deployed all their magic defenses. None of that made any difference.

after the dragon slayer there was no true danger around him, he went dora the explora. It pretty much went down to godkin tier was the only challenge.

all of these things happened could be avoided if they didn’t outright attacking him and tried to listen. They could even work together to an extent based on common hatred for the goddess.

well, the manga has been somewhat kid-friendly so far and hasn't gone full murder hobo revenge porn yet at least, tho with the fact he nuked a city before I knew it was also an option.
I just did not think he would be able to kill everyone as I assumed the military-grade magic shields would actually work enough to keep some people alive, but I guess I was wrong xD

Those aren't really "spoilers" though, just terribly under-explained by the manga. At best they may actually bother explaining next chapter, but I don't think they will. They didn't even bother with any army reactions etc as the attack was coming down. Like the humans thinking that the person brought by the golden light "was here to help us, right?!"
