Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu - Vol. 4 Ch. 27

Rembrandt's dubious actions aside, Tomoe not sharing pertinent information about a business partner with her boss is, in my view, a traitorous act. I do hope this doesn't become a dropped plot thread and she has serious consequences.

Ahhh it's been a while since i've read this series. Forgot how many back-door dealings Rembrandt actually did. IMO I think it's a good bit to include due to, as Tomoe puts it, Makoto being too innocent. His actions are 100% just and well intentioned. What's wrong with saving such pitiful lives? The reveal that Rembrandt is far more than just a "shady guy" puts into perspective how naive our dear protagonist may be, or not be. It definitely should get Makoto to start second guessing who he interacts with... UNLESS he doesn't particularly care. It's hinted a few times but Makoto is a bit sociopathic. He cares deeply for the ones he loves, and he has shown empathy. But as expressed in a previous chapter, despite being born in a relatively peaceful home and city where death isn't as common as a fantasy world, he doesn't bat an eye at corpses or have any particular qualms at the lost "enemy" lives. While it's common for isekai protagonists to not really give two shits about these sort of qualms, it's nice to see a series acknowledge this abnormality.
Tomoe hiding Rembrandt's secrets though... I wonder if that was a good idea. Perhaps, it'll serve as a future breakpoint in Makoto's trust in others. I see it as a mother covering her child's eyes. She doesn't want Makoto to get hurt.

So Rembrandt is just like the CIA and Jeff Bezos? Nothing too fucked up to see here, compared to our world.

@MelReinH Well, his wife (maybye?) and children (surely!) however aren't at fault for that, so saving them is still fine in my eyes and nothing Makoto should (or would) regret I think. If he would care about what Rembrandt did, hard to say, yeah, wouldn't put it behind him to take a "No more of this but lets forget the past"-stance considering his abnormal behaviour towards death of people unrelated to him, but nonetheless Tomoe should have told him absolutly. Would at least show him to be a bit more careful how he judges people and maybe it would have bothered him, since his behaviour seems more towards people that oppose him, and rembrandt killed the women that was in love with him, betrayel instead of just enemies is always a bit different.

Many seem to be angry for tomoe not informing Makoto. Are you all idiots or something? Even Tomoe realizes that Makoto is too naive to handle these matters. He just looks straight and nothing else. Up till now many times, Tomoe saved his ass. If he knows he'd just take some naive actions again.
Tomoe is a dragon with thousands of years of experience. She obviously knows what's best to do here.

That was a good twist. Instead of "I made connections with a big shot with a great heart" rout they twisted it. Not bad.

Tomoe feels like naruto in reverse. Naruto was idiot in figuring these schemes but a genius in battles. While tomoe is reverse. Genius in everything but stupid in front of her master.

Plot holes/plot armor galore. Wish they had negative ratings to downrate it further.
"I'm a loyal samurai in what amounts to a slave contract yet I'll be disloyal and withhold information. It's not going against the contract if I don't deem it to be!" The MC has told them to follow his commands and listen to him, yet they fail to do so regularly while still calling him master. This "control" relationship is obviously not being adhered to by the characters/author.

Whether they think it’s best or not, which we already know their decision making us just as flawed. It’s the blind leading the blind in this story.

And then you have fanboi’s who protect their precious at the sign of any negativity. As though their opinions are the right one as well. Fun times.

@0riginal i’d do the same thing as tomoe did considering how super naive and sensitive her master is...... many people seemed to not notice but a few chapters back when the guild employee tried to help him by giving him a letter of explanation he said something stupid “i can explain to them myself” that lead to the president doubting him because he obviously just a nameless adventurer that proclaimed to bring rare materials. You can already guess how childish and naive his behavior is just by looking at that particular scene alone

@0riginal

That's not a plothole, that's just the story going in a direction that you personally dislike. It's just your subjective opinion, not a contradiction given that the full terms of the control contract weren't stated, plus Tomoe has been rebellious since the very beginning, so if anything the fact she can conceal information from him is more consistent than if she had shared it due to obligation.

I'm puzzled how you managed to read this manga to chapter 27 and be so wrong about everything.

If you're not happy that the contract's name doesn't describe particularly well its terms, I agree with you, but that's not a plot-hole, that's an artistic choice. In this case, the only control is enforced via transforming the servant's appearance to look like the master and the granting of new powers to either one of them or both.

So yeah... It just pisses me off when I see stupid fucking criticisms stated as fact but based in nothing but a subjective opinion, go make your own fucking manga.
