Usogui - Vol. 32 Ch. 344 - Coordinator

Wonder what will be Kaji's roll on this now that the plan seems to be failing.

Uh oh, god damn it Marco. You were so close.

On another note, Ryuusei actually gave a good punch there.

If Rodem is released, the hunters are utterly screwed.
He should be lucid enough now to leave his allies alone.

Oh god. The catharsis would be SO complete if the electrocution could awake Rodemu. XD
Unfortunately, I don't think it'll be happening. It's nothing like the usual trigger, after all, and it might cause unwanted casualties within the slaves.

That being said, seeing Kaji's cunningness save the day just after Marco's loss would be quite satisfying as well.

I'm pretty sure "Rodem" as he was, doesn't exist at this point. The whole fight with Caracal established that Rodem was basically Marco running away from fighting, and the fight ended with him coming to terms with the fact that he should be fighting and not hiding behind an alter ego. Maybe he can intentionally trigger Rodem now, but I don't think he'd do something blatantly against the rules.

Looks like it's not just Lalos group they'll be competing with. I doubt the Developers want these outsiders to come onto their island and upset the balance.

I guess this is how we can find a circumstance like the one hinted at earlier where neither Usogui or Lalo can win.

@saxifraga
I think that should be correct. From what I remember of Midara's explanation and example case, the only people who are supposed to know about the ban gamble are the referees and the players. His example was with people playing in the Japanese congress, and they had to play the match while avoiding the other government officials or guards

It stands to reason to me that none of the normal citizens of the island nor the Developers know about the Kakerou gamble going on where someone is aiming to become the Kaiser of the island, which is why even the referees have to pose as Citizens. But because Baku and Lalo are trying to become the Kaiser in 24 days, they're going to have to make big movements to amass tons of cash and followers quickly. So I figure even since they don't know about the Kakerou gamble (and would have no obligation to not interfere with the gamblers), the Developers will move as a kind of third party in the gamble to ensure that neither Baku or Lalo become the Kaiser and their social structure can remain in place.

theres no way marco is out because of that shock, Not even 2 defilibrators could completely take out rankos fangs
