Yuusha-sama no Osananajimi to Iu Settei no Make Heroine ni Tensei shita no de, Chougoushi ni Job Change Shimasu - Vol. 1 Ch. 1

.....ok maybe its because i just played the remake but the mc is inspired by aerith right?

Omg that credits and end pages are NEXT LEVEL. Normally I don't look kindly on groups who translate something that's already been claimed but this was miles better. No offense to the other team, this just was far more readable. Please continue!

I found it! A smol truck-sama!!! Is this how Truck-sama is testing their devoters?

Btw it's funny how the comment section is filled with comments about truck-sama instead of the story itself 😂

I loved all the easter eggs the slight texts and mini truck-mamas! And thank you for the release!

Thank you for the release!

Is there a shorter name for this series? (The title is way too long.)

@missmercurial
Isn't it okay if the group offers something different or better? That's certainly the case here, anyway.

@KuRuuRuu
There's not much to actually be said just yet. Not with making some strange mis-readings or assumptions, anyway.

I read this chapter twice after reading the note at the end...but I still couldn't find any sign of truck-sama. I guess, I really am not one of his devoters XDDD Hahahahahha XD

Childhood Friend is a difficult job in manga and anime, lots of hardship, heartbreak, and rarely any reward. Hang in there Laura!

Thanks for the translation!

@keks503 there are just a few hidden things, e.g. page 7 bottom left it says "Truck-kun's cousin" in light grey. Or on page 36, there's a faded in truck on the bottom left. There probably are a few more but these are the ones I saw on first glance.

@keks503 there is also that CD cover title on p8 n a truck-sama on p9
and the truck-sama under Laura's hand on p5
and on some more books and boxes in the BG
Actually, just how many are there?
has anyone counted them?

@blackLuna
Personally I find it a very grey area - when a series is quite new, the group is struggling/not behaving very professionally, and similar circumstances are certainly cases where I think taking on a series already translated by another group isn't bad etiquette, and in this case, I think these circumstances also apply. But I also think there needs to be some consideration for newer scan groups (SBS Scans does not appear to have any other releases). Though Truck-sama/Transgression Scans also seems like a new group, they clearly have experience (the screencaps of the Discord chat at the end and the font choice for "Transgression Scans" also resemble those of certain other big groups, which is what led me to believe they were an offshoot until I checked their profile and this was their only upload). In this case, I think it would be kinder to offer to proofread SBS' work as a mentor-mentee relationship. Eventually, the mentee group should be able to handle stuff by themselves, maybe even taking on projects that are less popular with the mentor group but still in demand.

All that is to say, I'm very happy to have a better translation/production, but I hope it doesn't put the first group off from continuing to translate/post!
