Do You Think Someone Like You Could Defeat the Demon Lord? - Vol. 1 Ch. 3

Urgh.... They just starting the adventure and already creepy as monster thrown to them.
The author is savage af.

Out of all the missions you can pick as an F rank, werewolf subjugation?

I'm surprised that the manga is deviating from the novel here. Maybe there will be some story shuffling to introduce some plot points earlier.

In the novel, Chimaira isn't introduced this early and Flum fights an Anzu instead.

@Archomp It shouldn't be offered as an F rank mission because it involves killing a D-rank enemy. That Dane guy from Chapter 2 basically controls the Adventurer's Guild in the Western Capital and made the receptionist (who wasn't going to give them any missions) give them this bogus mission that should be impossible to complete, just so that they would go off and die.

Obviously, neither the receptionist or Dane are aware of her epic cursed sword and its potential power.

@Azhotype Note from author's afterwords in LN Vol 3 re. the manga story:

I’ve actually rewritten quite a bit of Episode 1 for the manga version. There’s going to be a few developments that aren’t in either the WN or the LN, and just seeing Minakata-sensei’s drawings of Flum and Milkit is pretty much the best of the best, so if you’ve got time you should check it out!

I assume future manga chapters will have manga-exclusive content/changes as well.

Typesetter here, I sorta took forever on this project. My bad. Also, the next raw chapter just came out about a week ago (the raw provider had to look for it in an online magazine), so we're currently working on that. I promise not to take as long on it. (Don't hold me up on that).

@Babydel HOLYSHIT you weren't kidding, I remembered when this had only 1 chapter translated and the raws where at ch 3.....and I just checked and they are still ONLY 3 fucking chapters holy moly RIP this series for me, it had a nice idea and I liked the yuri pairing/ wana see the shit mage get his ass kicked but at the rate we are going with we are probably only gona get another 3 chapters per fucking year aka dropped OTL

@dokidoki do yourself a favor and read the WN/LN ( I have no idea which one Im reading. Go NU and find it) Sad to say, shit mage isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

I mean, if you can't handle some delays in your freely available voluntarily translated and edited manga then there's the door, I guess. I would love to have more of this manga on a regular time table, but life happens. I'm grateful for what we get when we get it.

That said, that is a super bad ass monster for the first real fight, like holy shit. This manga is great and I'm looking forward to more.

This one is fine. Looking forward to chapter 4, that might be released in a few days. But 3 or even 7 Months between releases are a no go. I don't wanna sound ungrateful, but if the raws are released in a 2+ months pace (not the translators fault), that's quiet the deal breaker. This here isn't Berserk. Maybe I read the LN, as I did get hooked to the story.

Ooooh I was really waiting for this one, and glad to hear that ch4 is out in raw... but who knows when ch5 will come out xD
Spinning huh? that's weird... The monster in the cover has a spinning face too o_O could they be related or is just some magic? (I don't plan on reading the LN so I'll have to wait xP).
Thanks for the chap!

@Nep yeah i just saw a bunch of LN pics aka spoiling myself but shit looks WILD, def has my interest and RIP shit mage nothing happening to him which isnt a surprise because imo if something does happen to him than story is over since mage is MC's goal atm but yeah sucks that I probably wont read it since I don't like LN's in general but man it sucks so dam much for this manga to get shit tier releases like 10+ months for fucking 3 chapters LMAO series is dead on arrival

@dokidoki Mage is like a super minor character that literally nobody cares about. Also, you should really read LN. I usually find it more entertaining than even though and Im the type that hates reading walls of texts.

I say usually because most LN have 'additional information' that makes a character more fleshed out while others are quite 'confusing' because its purposefully vague. (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto. Im looking at you.)

All I am saying is try reading one or two occasionally. You may somehow end up liking to read (certain types of story/depending how they write it). ( I swear I hate reading when I was younger. I blame boring books/ over the top books) (Award winning stories like Warcraft love describing the scenery at the first paragraph. I tend to lose interest before the scenery was done)

EDIT: That being said, you know your preferences better.
