Also, Marcielle's ideal partner being a super gaudy prince-like woman is unexpected. That thing definitely wasn't a man, but this whole time I thought her endgame was going to be Laius. The torture from the midget everyone loves to hate would've been so good if that was the case, but a surprise lesbian reveal was fine too.
