Goblin Is Very Strong - Vol. 5 Ch. 37

can't tell if this is going to be serious or played for laughs, this series be wild

Ok, now I think we got the answer of the last chapter‘s question : yes, she killed everyone by transforming them into flowers.

This kinda feels likes it getting to an ending since everyone is working together now and we are learning more about the demon lord. I am sure as well that the cicada will have some horrifying second phase.

I don't like this sudden super strong character insert. It's too random.

But, let's see what it goes.

So did the Demon King seal away his sister because she went insane after all those years?

Heck yeah, Party Battle against literal Hidden Boss opponent here we go. Thanks so much for the really quick translation too!

Interesting that Aki and Chiaki are continuing to get closer, power up from that will be fun to see. Seems like this Marom is a prototype for the next level being the brother and sister were trying to create, though something still went wrong with it. Wonder if it's the sister herself transformed ala the Demon Lord, or they copied their minds/souls somehow and changed bodies or what. Next few chapters will be fun, she looks powerful enough to actually push this team, so we'll get to see how they all use their various special strengths. Aki presumably still has her crazy fast speed but not a ton of power behind it, Goblin of course is maxed out, Demon has her time h4x and general magic knowledge. Granite is the one who right now we haven't seen the growth of in a bit, since the candle demon battle.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

@HDMI1
maybe she died and this marom is an attempt to resurrect her as a 'complete being'

@Ulthair
I bet it'll remain a nice mix of both, like sure she'll be crazy strong and a monster, and she really will try to kill them, but in a childlike way kind of and they'll be friends after. I don't think either Wasabi or Mimit will die even temporarily, and Aki/Granite will at worse get coffin'd and promptly resurrected, no demon lord box processing here. That'll still leave a bit more potential drama for the end game, plus on whether Aki will ultimately decide to stay or go, but ultimately feel I get from this story is like Koukaku no Pandora and such: yeah there's a big world with some serious stuff happening and some heavy duty background, but this story isn't about that. Guess we'll see.

I just hope this little arc actually is covered this volume and it doesn't drop us on a cliff hanger next chapter...
