first, there's the motivation problem. if you spent like, years doing a certain research, you tends to even forget the reason you're doing the research in the first place. common problem among lich and the like
then there's applicability of his power. unless he's laplace, or has access to the akashic record, his imagination won't necessarily has the same rule as real world. it's like dreaming up the perfect perpetual motion machine, only to fail irl because friction exist.
all the more so since he exist in a world where mana cost and exhaustion doesn't exist, like, good job inventing a magic that needs 100 mages worth of mana maintained over the course of 3 days, dumbass

i'm sure this randos would still hellbent on the destruction of the world even after centuries studying magic, and i'm sure all magic he thought up would be applicable in real life

@JavelinJoe See, the thing is tho that we don't know if magic really needs their body or if it is just a mind thing, or how the split is. I would imagine that magic is at least 90% a mind thing, so then him teaching his body how to do the magic he has perfected shouldn't take long at all.

Please, please, please consider doing something to your raws other than just a bilinear upscale. There are much better ways to upscale low-res raws, and there are much higher resolution raws of this series available.

Please see the following comparison:

A is what you released here on mangadex.
B is the same low-res raws you used (I assume) from alphapolis, processed by waifu2x using a 2.0x upscale and level 1 denoise.
C is the much higher resolution raws from lhscan, processed by waifu2x using no upscale and a level 3 denoise (they were very overcompressed).

Both options B and C look so much better, and even if you don't want to go searching for high-res raws on sites like lhscan, just running the existing raws you use through waifu2x produces the results seen in B and takes 2-3 minutes to do the whole chapter. It's really worth it.
