Living in This World With Cut & Paste - Vol. 1 Ch. 5

@leganbond,

The issue is, everyone is right though.

He should've cut his skills almost immediately after Lyle showed his hostility and attacked his own party members.

Remember, he preemptively cut the thief's abilities on the trip into town. And of course, made a snap decision to judge and then cut the rest of the attackers at that time.

So, why? Despite seeing Lyle voice his plan to kill him and then attack his own party, did he not cut his abilities?

He acknowledged immediately after finally cutting Lyle's abilities he could just as easily return them back afterwards.

@Codecy Might want to have your translator/proofers learn to translate western names a bit better. "Arekisandoraito" is just the direct japanese pronunciation in katakana, it should be translated as "Alexandrite" (like the mineral). If your TLs ever want to learn Western name translating techniques, tell them to DM me on discord Solistia#3058 I'm always around to teach :D

His skill is obvious from his name:

“It was your skill,but now it's Myne!”

Ba dum tss

the hole! now hormones, do your work and kill the pain. lucky he has healing potion since it could be such terrible pain tomorrow.

fuck that would hurt and I don't see how a healing potion could even deal with pain unless them health potions got pain killing properties

Why the MC need to explain his skills?????????????????

Skills are PERSONAL INFORMATION... wtf trash guild master

@gagegageha
Pretty sure it's guild policy that people can't disobey the guildmaster and remain a adventurer attached to the guild even if it's technically not required info.
If it follows the wn, it's a policy he comes to regret, badly.

@DSuper

i mean he was probably in shock and hyped on adrenaline, you can take crazy injuries and not feel anything in the moment.

i like how this manga takes a bit of a more grounded approach, with the kid actually recognising how dangerous his powers are and trying to think through the moral implications. i hope that thread isn't just tossed aside.

The one thing I hate about this whole series from reading the web novels is that the author is dead. Don’t get me wrong, I love the story and everything that it was and turned out to be, it’s just that it will never be able to reach its end and conclusion. So I have mixed feelings reading the manga, as the story will never be able to reach its end because from what I remember, the author unfortunately died from some heart problem in the hospital.

@The_Enderwolf if they are doing a manga even after the novel author died it means they will make up something for the ending. Its common for adaptations to deviate from the original anyway.

Dang, not just is the mc dumb, the love interest runs up into an active battle instead of staying behind the guild leader.

@ShionSinX @The_Enderwolf Just wondering, the author died in 2017, and while novelupdates lists the webnovel as discontinued the novel proper is listed as ongoing, and the last volume I can find on amazon, of the light novel and not the manga, is volume 5 which came out in 2019(what I could glean of using deepl translate). Did another author take over or am I misinterpreting something?
