It's hilarious when the introduce a person
Hey how are you guys?
Yes it is I, the princess so-and-so of these lands aka the battle princess and also Aisha is here aka the holy bow, we are fine
GM: - "You are expelled from our guild now!"
MC: - "Ok, I'll just go to another one in another country, I'm sure my services would be welcomed there"
GM: -
@sjmcc13 and what would be "the rule" he broke? There is no rule to reveal your skills. If the rule is to obey the orders of the GM, does that mean if he says to kill yourself, not doing it is breaking the rules? Even the novel doesn't say it, just vaguely talk about "rules are rules". So it's not like he broke any rules, more like the GM made a demand and expelled him for not complying with it.
GM is dumb. He knows somethings up and the kid is showing good will and results torwards them. He should have kept all that information to himself and offer support, on top of making special exceptions to him to make sure word about it wouldnt spread. In due time MC could trust him enough to tell him his secret, but he tried to brute force it and got rejected. He could just not punish him and let it be, but decided to antagonize MC instead.
@WillTell the GM asked about it and he refused to answer. That is going against GM's requests, which is a rule. Its a very vague rule on purpose so the GM always has a way to deal with anyone and still be an official rule; imagine they'd need to write a full bloom 1000 page document of rules to cover barely half of what he can deal with such simple worded rule otherwise. Usually you'd use that for good, but in this case it wasnt, but still a rule.
He marries her and the princess. She even quits the guild to work with him directly. Aisha also takes his first time.
@WillTell : Obeying the GM is the rule, but the GM was abusing his authority which is why the MC was right to refuse and part of why the GM was an idiot (going through with the expulsion, which only costs the guild revenue
and their best receptionist
and creates a source of competition, since his showed more then enough talent to draw the attention of nobles and start taking requests directly from them, being another part of it). Fortunately in their world the Adventurer Guild is not a monopoly and there are other (and more lucrative) options the MC (since he is not a social outcast borderline criminal like certain adventurers are/were) can take.
Guild master first acted like he knew his parents acting like a grandfather then kicked him. It's not like he has a criminal record and he doesn't have to show his skills
