Living in This World With Cut & Paste - Vol. 1 Ch. 5

@Chizan Maybe it says that it is ongoing because not all of the chapters that were written have been made into the light novel?

@ShionSinX I never knew that, thanks for telling me about it. Definitely makes me feel better about the manga knowing it will get a proper ending

@The_Enderwolf @Chizan I really dont know the status of the other ones, but if the manga still listed as "ongoing" it probably means the publisher has someone working on it based off the source material (as there are still ways to go to catch up with the novel). They may cancel it once it reaches the 'end' (where the novel ended) or they may make up something new to wrap it up, who knows, but if the manga was cancelled it would be listed as such instead of 'ongoing' (the status is based off the manga publishing itself, not the translation progress).

Also the LN might be ongoing just because there are still material from the WN to finish up more volumes, as the LN is a polished, printed, version of the WN.

Thanks for the update, please continue translating this manga really love it. Thank you translators can't wait for the next update.

I don't know why, but the manga adaptation's course of events annoy me compared to the novel version's. It's not because I'm the type to treat the source material as sacred, there are times where I prefer an adaptation's version of events, but for this manga in particular, I feel like the flow of events would have been better if left unaltered. Personal opinion and all that.

Thanks for the chapter, translator.

this whole series is nonsensical. Why would a weak girl run up to a guy with a weapon? Instead of staying behind a guildmaster with a huge sword??? What kind of logic is this? Is the author even trying?

Wow. He is extremely lucky to live in such a benevolent world, in which townsfolk help orphans, heck benevolent are around any corner and nearly everyone is nice, except for some villains, who happen to be borderline stupid. In other fantasy-rpg-settings his free life would be forfeited, because he left witnesses alive.
