NEET dakedo Hello Work ni Ittara Isekai ni Tsuretekareta

The Japanese and their urge to increase their population.. cuz them are getting old.. so Harem is good.. so to have many babys is good..

> Why manga keeps trying to show slavery, sexual slavery or the sexual submission of women in a good light?

Are we reading the same manga here? Chapter #25 has a flashback about a corrupt noble beating his slaves. Is that "manga trying to show slavery in a good light" to you?

Slavery were never in any light "good", they could be positive or beneficial to a society as a whole, but they were never good. Slaves were regarded as objects, they have little to no rights (not to be confused with serfs). Ancient slavery is the same, the only reason roman slaves were treated better was because of how advanced roman civil law regarding protection of property (and by extension, slaves, which are property) were and how crucial slavery was as a commodity for the roman empire, therefore need to be regulated heavily. Individual slave's treatment of course vary depends on the individual's master in question, though usually they would treat their slaves based on their skills and capacity to learn, but even the most treated of slaves are slaves regardless.

I don't really have an in-depth knowledge of roman slavery as it was just mentioned on an hour and lecture on roman property law but enough to get the gist of how shit it must have been for the slaves.

I don't know how money works in Japan, but humor me for a minute.

250,000 yen per month times 12 months equals 3,000,000 yen per year. As of now that equals about $27,403.35. Assuming a 40 hour work week, U.S. federal minimum wage earns you $15,080.00 per year. So he's basically earning just under twice American minimum wage. Bear in mind that the average American income is $63,179 per year. So he's earning less than half of the average American income for 24 hour full time labor and no days off, and he has to SAVE A FUCKING PLANET. This is bullshit. Talk about working for a black company, he's better off being a neet or flipping burgers at McDonald's.

When it comes to Isekai, a harem is a must.
- MC
I fucking wish most authors didn't think like that. Honestly I have seen it ruin so many that had a good premise.
I wish there were more without.

@fagguette101 I am not saying your numbers are wrong but each of the waifus he meets are unvaluable.

@Moonwolf287 this is the first harem manga where each girl has her own unique arc, motivations, development, life goals, etc. They don't become just part of a collection or numbers to increase. I honestly advice you to give it a try, its the first properly written harem I have read.

@Faryshta I know I'm still reading it because the plot is okay and the harem is decently handled compared to others.

@denmark0128 I would not mind. Not all characters that flock around the MC have to be attractive, this goes for both men and women. For fighter type characters a more toned body would make sense, mages and other less agile / fit characters could also be more plumb and/or old. Not everybody has to be attractive (in the sense to what is considered attractive by author / artist).

Regarding the complaints about harems in manga, I recommend you to look up ones with female protagonist. Isekai genre alone has a good number of them, and there was a time when female protagonists were majority in the genre (Alice in Wonderland, Wizard of Oz, Magic Knight Rayearth)

Anyone got any ideas what role Tilica could possibly serve in this adventuring party that she and the others have formed? Masaru and Sati will obviously be the frontline fighters, with the former being what RPG terminology would call a "magic knight" and Sati also having ranged ability with her archery skills, while Eli is the combat mage and Angela is the healer. Where could Tilica and her lie-detecting eye fit into this? Unless she's hiding some other ability...

Surprisingly, compared to most other 'harem' isekais, this one is pretty good. When you have beta cuck MCs who have a dozen girls wanting their D but they never get any left and right its good to see something different for once. It pisses me off when the MCs have like 3~4 girls around them ALL THE TIME and all you see is fanservice, blueballs and not even a kiss.

This is pretty good, 6.8 rating are pretty low for this manga that drawn well and the comedy is top notch, people sometime are harsh judge..
give it a read until chapter 6 atleast, the 1-2 chapter are pretty rough and meh, but in later chapter it does go interesting (probably because MC is wimp at start but get better after get trained)

the only minus thing from me is probably because its harem, story would probably better if not but this harem are handled well imo. so its not really bad thing

my final score after reading to chapter 28 is 8/10

thanks translator for picking this up!

Far better than the score suggests. Art is good, translation seems solid, good characters, and doesn't indulge in a lot of common isekai tropes. Threads the line between comedy and serious very well. Can only assume the low rating is due to the average MD users sheer hatred of harems and isekai slavery.

That's exactly why I never judge a manga based on the Rating. People use their own prejudices and biases and vote on either extremes. The sad truth is the people who vote low are the same people who've read a hell of a lot (not a bad thing!) and have become jaded because they now see similarities in past works and have a difficult time enjoying something new because of it. The trick is to just approach the manga with a fresh set of eyes, but easier said than done, I know.

Not buying this logic, very important task and u give it to neet. Cool story bro.

i recognize the art. pretty sure the artist makes hentai doujins but under a dif pen name. cant remember the pen name but their hentai is pretty damn good
