That's quite hard to believe. Ok, they can sacrifice people on their side, but if they need to sacrifice on the other side to open the hole there, how they were able to kill them to begin with?

Also if it is so hard to get connection to another world, being able to kill specific people out of nowhere, makes beliable that it is possible to kill lots of people on the same world in an instant just by casting an spell.

If you think about it might be something like the activation of the spell is what did the sacrifice process like the spell took their souls from their bodies as such they died on the spot and they did mention a god aided them in some way so that god might have done the sacrificing

Kinda disappointed that the princess is just another evil character for the sake of being. Although there's gore and mature stuff, the story and motivations in this story is undoubtedly very shounen-oriented. Fking edgy.
